I’m leaving at the crack of dawn to head to Chicago for BlogHer ’13. This will be my fourth BlogHer Conference (five, if you include BlogHer Food in 2011!), and while I’m a little anxious to be away from home for the first time all summer, I am looking forward to what I know will be a great reunion with bloggy friends, and a monsoon of fascinating content and networking. If you’ll be in the Windy City tomorrow, I’d love it if you’d tweet me to say ‘hi’!
I’ll be speaking on a panel, sponsored by Intel, called:
Glass Ceilings, Work-Life Balance and Other Working Woman Worries:
Description: Game-changing women executives have been hot news this year, and as head of Marketing at Intel Media and a former Disney and Apple senior leader, Courtnee Westendorf is one of those game-changing women who has reached the top of the corporate food chain. Courtnee will moderate a panel discussion packed with insights for working women. Informed by Courtnee’s personal experience juggling life as a marketing executive and mom and joined by women at different stages of their career journey, this panel will deliver actionable tips for career success. Brought to you by Intel Media.
We had a blast talking through our perspectives on working womanhood during our planning call – if that conversation was any indication, the session is sure to be thought-provoking, honest, and liberating all at the same time. Come check us out!
