CRAZYTOWN. I was nominated for three Iris Awards®. Pinch me!
The Iris Awards® honors the parent blogging community and its body of work throughout the year. The Awards recognize the finest expressions in art, commentary, commerce, philanthropy, ideas and connections, all the while celebrating the emerging industry created by its pioneers and leaders.
Through the act of expressing both the everyday and the exceptional, we individually create and collectively achieve. And great achievement deserves recognition.
My nominations are for Influencer of the Year, Game Changer of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year. And, the coLAB: collaboration for a diverse alliance project that Blogalicious was a part of with Latina Bloggers Connect and Alt Summit also was nominated for a Game Changer of the Year award! What is truly surreal is the company I am keeping – the bloggers nominated in every single one of the categories are bosses. These awards are so very special to me because they are community-conceived (by the Mom 2.0 Summit team) and community-chosen. I remember the giddy and goosebump-y feeling I had when I had the honor of presenting at the first-ever Iris Awards in 2014 and then to be nominated for Game Changer of the year in 2015. This so amazingly special to me and I am so grateful to live this nutty, fulfilling, unpredictable and FUN blogging life.
I love everyone!! Congratulations to all. See you in Laguna.
