I had the most fun today. I kicked off the day with the Personalizing Celebrations session with Martha Stewart Weddings Editorial Director, Darcy Miller. She was chockful of tips and creative ideas for party-throwing. My kinda gal. She was also a riot (and is apparently obsessed with candy – check out the adorable chocolate-bar-business-cards she gave each of us).
Next I spoke on the Building Offline Events panel with Megan, Danielle and Laura. I think we pretty much nailed it. And all of the bloggers where so great. Also? I was reminded how badly Laura and I need to hang out. Or maybe it’s better we didn’t hang out too often since we came up with an idea for a new event that we want to co-produce within seconds of sitting down at the table together. Totally dangerous.
Today also sent lots of laughter my way. Starting with Karen at lunch and the better part of the evening with my soul-friend Stacy (that’s me and her making balloon faces at the Sherwin-Williams closing keynote). The mini-parties were lovely – I spent most of my time hanging out in Crush On You party hosted by Go Mighty. Catching up with my Mighty gals Sarah and Susan and Kirsten put icing on the cake that was my day.
As was spending time with Jyl and Jill.
Also? Stefan Sagmeister‘s keynote was perfect.
